The Taxation Board (The Supreme Court of Taxes)

I've never heard anyone suggest that politicians aren't the main problem with taxation. This is due primarily to their focus on keeping their job which means making the people most able to finance their reelection happy.

There has never been a worse conflict of interest... and we all pay for it.

So, what is the best way to eliminate that problem?

I think I've got THE answer.

We need an independent, 'Appointed For Life' body similar to the Supreme Court to be responsible for Taxation.

Congress should still determine how to spend the money but they should pass a budget and hand the bill to the 'Tax Board' and allow them to determine how that amount is to be collected.

This would eliminate the concern about reelection and it's correlation to tax loop holes.

Also, similar to the way that anti-trust laws make it illegal for competetors to discuss price with each other, it would need to be illegal for anyone to discuss a tax law that they have an interest in with a Tax Board member.

With no concern about losing a job and no outside influence, tax law would move toward simplicity and fairness.

Since individual loopholes would not be possible, lobyists concerned with taxes would need to focus on reducing spending overall.

We'd all benefit.
